Before project triffle begin I MUST HAVE: 2 CAN EVAPORATED MILK, 1 CAN FRUIT COCKTAIL/ PEACHES, DADIH MIX/ JELLY MIX, BUTTER CAKE
my triffle have 3 basic layers (from bottom to the top). trifle is my fav coz i can tweak the layers according to my liking.
1. BASE: butter cake from first choice a.k.a Giant. cut into the size that u can handle, stack the butter cake and drizzle with the syrup from canned peach
2. CUSTARD: to be poured on top of butter cake stack. follow the recipe from mat gebu
BAHAN KASTARD
200 ml evaporated milk
100 ml water
2 egg yolks
2 tbsp (heaping spoon yar) custard powder
4 tbspn sugar
3/4 tspn vanilla essence
3. arrange peaches/fruit cocktail on the custard layer.
4. cook some dadih and pour on top. i prefer mango dadih. DADIH: available at any grocery stores. just follow the instruction. final product will look like the trifle that was made by Rina Salleh *cant find mango konyaku so end up with dadih....never regret it*
